Submission Requirements

Each entry must include the following:

1. The name of the highlighted Individual
2. Their Credit Union affiliation and CU email address
3. Their associated 501(c)(3) Charity Organization name
4. A brief summary of the activities and story behind the nominated individual’s efforts to benefit their chosen organization.
5. One or more images, or a short video illustrating their efforts.

Rules for Entry

1. Nominated individuals must be current employees of a credit union or of Xpress Data, Inc. The credit union itself cannot be nominated, as the focus of this event is to highlight individuals and their efforts to further a charitable cause. (Clarification to this rule, updated 07/17/2025 – Activities performed as part of an employee’s assigned job duties are not eligible for consideration. For example, an employee whose job duties include organizing credit union-sanctioned charitable activities would not be eligible for those activities, but that same employee would be eligible for any activities originated and performed outside the scope of their position as an employee of the credit union.) Limit, one submission per nominee.
2. Nominees must enter a valid email address with a credit union email domain.
3. The charitable cause must be a 501(c)(3) charity in order to allow distribution of the award. Qualifying 501(c)(3) charities must also have a website or direct method of donating any awarded funds.
4. Highlighted activities must have taken place after November 01, 2024, or be in progress during the entry acceptance period.
5. Entries will be accepted from April 01, 2025 to July 31, 2025.
6. The awards will consist of 30 individual awards of $1,000 each, donated directly to the designated 501(c)(3) charity, in the name of the nominated individual.
7. At the end of the entry period, if entries exceed 30 in total number, the 30 awards will be selected at random from the total pool of entries.
8. All nominations will be displayed on the xdi.com website. By submitting a nomination and materials, the nominee provides permission to display these materials on xdi.com, through social media, and within materials promoting the “30 Acts of Kindness” event.
