On October 11, 2013 Lynette Chubb from Pacific Marine CU competed in the International Chili Society’s (ICS) 47th Annual World's Championship Chili Cookoff.  By winning 1st Place at Xpress Data, Inc.'s 2013 Credit Union Chili Challenge, Lynette qualified to compete in the Home Style Division at the ICS World's Championship competition held in Palm Springs, CA.  Lynette’s Chilis-a-Blazin’ recipe won 5th Place and $400 in cash against 60 world-class chili cooks . . . not bad for her first time at this highly competitive chili cookoff event.
